What does it take to become a training center?
Each agency will need a training coordinator for communications with AREST. After completing the application process and licensing fee, we can schedule a train-the-trainer session with your agency.
Who can become an authorized AREST trainer for our agency?
Anyone agency provider that takes the train-the-trainer session and can become an authorized trainer for your agency. Paramedic level providers will be able to teach both BLS and Advanced Cardiac Courses.
Yearly continuing education is required to maintain authorized trainer status.

Does the training meet requirements for Arizona certification?
The AREST program training follows national guidelines and meets requirements for Arizona State EMCT Certification as well as National Registry Certification Requirements. Those outside of Arizona will have to consult their state rules/regulations.
